Here, at Blue City s.r.l., we have been dealing with logistics since 1984, the year in which we started to provide the logistic services for the first time for the organized large-scale distribution of Trento, in northern Italy. It is in fact in Trento that Blue City is born and settle its headquarters, waiting for the new one that will soon be opened in Lavis by the end of 2018.
In over thirty years we have come a long way, we rely on over 150 vehicles and 5 operational offices distributed in Trentino and Veneto, which allow us to manage the needs of any client, from the smallest to the multinationals and let us gain the status of industry leader in our territory.

Blue City specializes in maintaining the cold chain and provides over 30,000 square meters of controlled temperature warehouses to store and handle very type of product.
This is why our company is composed of four types of platforms, each of them has peculiar features, two of which have already obtained the IFS logistics certification, a certificate of quality excellence in the internationally recognized logistics sector.

Food security is the most important element for companies operating in the industry of organized large-scale retail and food production; for this reason Blue City S.r.l. has pursued the decision to implement a management system involving the product’s quality and safety, complying with the principles defined by the IFS Logistics standard.
The punctual application of the Self Defense Control System (food defense) allows to eliminate the risk of food contamination as well as improving the level of security and hygiene of the work sites, the product and the process. The infrastructures and the water used are periodically monitored, through laboratory analysis, in order to guarantee compliance.
The service is delivered after careful analysis of customer needs, ensuring that it meets its expectations and at the same time in accordance with the principles of absolute quality of the IFS Logistics standard, implemented through the best possible technologies, optimizing time and costs and respecting environmental sustainability by minimizing energy waste.
The fleet is constantly renewed and its efficiency is verified through the execution of scheduled maintenance interventions. Also this year Blue City confirms the IFS LOGISTICS certification at "superior level" for the logistic platform in Verona and certifies, at the same level, the platform of via Klagenfurt in Trento too.
This IFS standard, specifically developed as a quality standard for storage, distribution, transportation as well as loading and unloading activities, optimizes the management of food and non-food products.
This standard also applies to companies providing freezing and thawing services as well as to logistics companies that use third party transport and / or storage service providers.
Through the achievement of this important certification, Blue City intends to achieve an acknowledgement by a third party about the quality of the service provided and the compliance with the highest standards in the management of its deposits.
In this way Blue City is able to offer its customers a guarantee of compliance with certified and periodically verified procedures in the management of food and no food products.
The goal for the next few years is to extend the certification to additional corporate offices.
